摘要
Soil thermal conductivity (STC) as the critical soil thermal properties, determines hydrothermal processes within soil and at the land-atmosphere interface. The predictive models have been widely adopted in environmental science, engineering and associated numerical simulations. However, the research status of measurement and modelling of soil thermal conductivity remain unclear. The presentation report: (1) the currently available STC predictive models (160+), their categories and evolution history; (2) performance assessment of STC predictive models of various categories with large dataset of STC measurements, challenges in modelling STC in unfrozen and frozen soils are also discussed; (3) effects of STC predictive models on the prediction of soil temperature and moisture regime in land surface models. The presentation ends with perspectives on future studies.
